    Seat Grab Bar

Does anyone know if an 80 XS850 seat grab bar will fit on my 81 XS1100?

Not to hi-jack your thread, but...Anyone have an idea on the cost of re-chroming ( probably send it out ) a grab bar on one of these seats? Mine is an F. Thanks.

Depending on condition, probably somewhere between $150-$400... plating is horribly expensive anymore....

$150-$400! I'll be crossing that off the to do list.

I think there may be some reasonable chrome platers in Tennessee. I suggest you look there.

Rattle can wrinkle black. I like the look but that's me !
Need some hot temps to wrinkle like it's supposed to.

Was hoping for under $100. Dang. Seems like back in the day $25 would do it.
I know here in N. MI it is pretty uncommon to have it done.

Yup, thank the US Government and the EPA for destroying the plating industry.

Go shopping! The old car/hotrod hobby is huge. Look at all the Harley-Davidsons out there! Atlanta has no less than a dozen businesses doing chrome plating.
