Something to look out for

Recently purchased a el cheapo solenoid from ebay
went right in ...worked fine ...until the other night ...bike started coughing sputtering ....then just quit....checked fuses ..all good put my house key between posts on solenoid..started right up Took a look today and noticed that replacement has two nuts securing red/white...blue/white pigtail....both loose .......A dab of Loctite..reconnect.....EUREKA !!!

If i buy anything on E Bay-bike related both bikes get OEM such as electrical-just doesn't pay to get cheap stuff.

Loose nuts

HA ha Jerry still has the lock washer and two nuts locked together from the rally last summer...Was thinking about removing the megaphone at this years rally !!!I know how much you enjoyed the noise as I passed by you .I actually saw you cringe as I went by...Are you going to the swapmeet at the coliseum this weekend??I saw a couple of Dyna twin plug coils there last year ,might see if I can locate some again...think the Harley boys use them on their (farm implements )bikes
