  • Allen Nuts - Looking for source

I'm looking for the allen nuts on the exhausts. I'm missing a stud too but i can make one of those.

I'm actually only missing one but I may replace six of them if the price is low.

    Thanks in advance.

There were none at Boats.net. Forgot to check Partzilla. It's always the one you don't check.

        Thanks!

Boats and Partzilla are the same company. You have to go with the 1978 nuts.

I replaced all mine with the Acorn style nuts. Get them at any hardware or automotive store.

We're talking about the nuts that fasten the header to the block, right?

I bought a set from another dealer besides partzilla/boat.net:

                  http://www.yamahapartshouse.com/oemp...78622e/exhaust

I think the whole set was $24, and they are NICE! Look same as original.

Yes, that's right. I'm trying to keep the same look. I'm only missing one nut. I ordered the ones from partzilla so I'll see how that goes.

                      Thanks again for the help.

Powersportsplus to Partzilla is a name change. Boats.net is the marine part of the company and sometimes prices might vary a little bit.

Yamaha Sports Center in Longview, TX has prices that match Partzilla. I like them. They called me on the telephone when there was a question about my order. My experience with them has been nothing, but good.

Carolina Cycle Center in Waynesville, NC is now in the game too. They claim to be beating Partzilla prices, but that remains to be seen.

I have no personal experience, but I understand Yamaha Parts House has generous rewards for your loyalty.

So, we are getting more choices.
