  • Oil Seal - Left Side

Can someone please give me a source for this oil seal. I need the kind that can be put in after the case is closed.

I thought I had one but it was the same as the right hand seal, which is smaller.

I ordered it from another source and they sent me the right one again.

I need to find someone that will send me the correct seal.

    Thanks in advance.

It may be Friday, but I'll try and find the part number. I picked one up from the local auto parts house. They needed to order it, but it was at the local, SMALL warehouse, so it IS a common size. A GOOD parts house can look up a seal from the size, ID X OD X W, IE 36mm X 24mm X 4mm. No, this is NOT the size!!

      Left Crank Seal (ign. side) - 32x48x8 Timkin/National 223215

If you go to your local bearing supplier they should have equivalent. Auto parts may have it if you supply the above part number.

If you type in the size (48x32x8) into Ebay, you'll get lots of options, but I recommend a double lipped seal like this.

          Thanks everyone.

I ordered to one on ebay and should get it in a week or so.

I've got plenty else to do until then.
