Need help with part. Start button broke!

Bike fell over and the start button broke, among other things. Highly doubt I can find just this piece. Am I going to have to buy a whole new assembly? Any ideas?

Anyone have a parts bike and willing to sell this part or assembly?

    Thanks

      As you stated

you could just buy the whole assembly if other things are damaged along with the button. They can still be acquired from Partzilla http://www.partzilla.com/parts/searc...IRE/parts.html. You can also get just the button. I have found several by searching Ebay.... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...utton&_sacat=0.

      Good luck.

              Hi Hammer,
              I can recommend this vendor.
Buy two they are small and get the springs at the same time 50 cents even I can afford that

Mikes xs has them with spring that worked for my bike. Must have been cheap if I got one there.

                  I had purchased

the $17.00 one of Ebay but I still ordered the AL one from him.

Ebay item came with a spring so that button gets tossed into the spare parts bin for the MNS and the Special gets the AL button.

Bookmarked the page in case I decide to get another.

I bought a couple of those aluminum buttons and springs probably 3 years ago so my starter and horn would match on my XJ650. It's a nice product at a good price.

They only way they could be improved would be to laser engrave the Yamaha logo or XS in the end.

Yes, but they also fit Kawasaki bikes.

Then a Kawasaki owner can put their own logo on it
