    Carb Rebuild

    Getting ready to re-build a friends carb set. I know one idle adjusting screw port needs to be tapped and there may be more. Does anyone know the tap sizes for:

    Idle adjusting screw
    Main jet
    Pilot jet
    Pilot air jet
    Any other carb threads I'm not thinking of

    I'd just like to have the right taps on hand before I start.

    no idea. I have a few carb bodies laying around though. if you get jammed up let me know and I'll see what I have.

      I ordered a tap for the idle speed screw when I turned a #1 carb into a #3 carb. I 'll have to look at it when I get home but it's the same thread as the mixture screws on a 78 - 79 carb.
