  • ? about road test

I'm going for my road test next week. I live in NJ. Do I need reflectors on my helmet?? I've been searching and it seems I do, but most helmets don't have reflectors. Unless I'm reading wrong.

The helmet is DOT approved but I removed the DOT sticker on the back because I had some paint work done. Wondering if I'm going to fail for something silly??

    Thanks!

Watched a Youtube video on NJ DMV tests, and they made no mention of it.

The only time you will need them is when you go for inspection...the rest of the time they dont care...I used to buy this reflective band that was elastic and could be put on or taken off the helmet...

Usually there will be something inside the helmet stating it is dot approved
