Ahem! From the feedback on this forum, we know at least some Midnight Specials were delivered with gold YAMAHA badges on the tank. Most of them were silver chrome. If you want new ones, only the gold is available with proper tank curvature as OEM. Chrome golf cart badges are available and comments on this forum report they fit.

4H3-24161-00-00 and 4H3-24162-00-00 are the part numbers for the Midnight Special tank emblems.

The gold SG/SH badges are still available. J38-24161-00-00 is the only part number available. The two distributors I checked show it as correct for both sides of the SG/SH tank.
