    help with part #

    I have a 79 special. Took healight apart and lost the square nut that goes to the headlight adjustment. Been trying to find the part #. I've had bad luck buying stuff on ebay,...says it fits xs1100 and it doesn't.

    Anyone?

    Anyone have one I can buy off you ASAP???

      Regrettably Yamaha doesn't have the fiche for the 79SF on their site anymore? That part on the 80 SG is:

      198-84334-60-00 NUT, ADJUSTING for the 80SG

      198-84334-60-00 NUT, ADJUSTING for the 79 750 Special...same #,

      And Yamaha shows it's still used and available. Their site doesn't show the price, but you can search for it using that #. OR just call your local dealer and inquire.
