I have a 1980 xs1100 Special , and the carb holders are really cracking and I'm sure sucking air . Where might be the best place to purchase replacements or a fix? Thanks

        Hey Rimrider,

It may be a bit late, the others posted where to get replacements, but the manifolds are dual layered, and most of the time, the inner layer is just fine, just the outside layer that's just cosmetic. There are a few techniques to clean them up if you are on a tight budget. Some have slathered black RTV all around them,or many layers of plastidip brush or spray on, others have used a plumber's rubber sealing wrap, but that could end up being almost as $$ as getting new!
