How to remove gas tank?

I checked forum already. Is there a how to for removing the gas tank? I want to paint it and rather do it off the bike. The bolt part is easy,...just don't want a gallon of gas all over my garage floor. Once off, I can then rebuild my left petcock.

There are a couple of cups under the tank that slip into two rubber pucks on the frame. Remove the bolt and wiggle the tank to the rear. Don't forget to disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel lines.

With the petcocks in the off position, disconnect the 4 fuel lines. It helps to put a block of wood under the rear tank mount to elevate it to get access to the fuel lines. It is a good idea to have a couple of 1/4" vacuum caps handy in case the petcock leaks badly when the line(s) is disconnected.
