Need Foot Pegs

Saw this on the alt.motorcycle.yamaha newsgroup

Just bought one with boards. Need standard footpegs for an 1100G. Rider and passanger if you have them. Swap for boards or buy them from you. SamB

I will swap. Does he want the round or the oval ones? I have a set for a 79F, 79SF, and 81LH. The 81's are sort of flat or oval shaped

Foot Pegs

I have a really cool fix for the foot peg problem. I have Harley Davidson Iso Pegs on my bike. They are cheap and readily available. It is necessary to use 10mm bolts and a spacer to secure them ti the XS foot peg bracket. But the mods are easy and well worth the small effort required. They also have the benifit of eliminating the buzzz that can transfere to your feet. Will post pics if anyone wants.

Thanks for all the help getting posted and the new pegs. A nice even trade was worked out but in the process a spare set of front and rear pegs were obtained on ebay. So if anyone needs pegs, I now have a set extra. Great forum and a lot of help. Will contribute as I can

Oh yes, Wes, post some close-up pix. I have been looking to replace mine to spif-up the bike.
