    Here's a pic of a gasket that you shouldn't use.

    Note the area between #1&#2

        Yeah, I don't remember where I saw that officially that you don't use it, but even my XJ book talks about installing it with the tabs down? With all the motors I've tore apart, I've never seen one either.

          I'm thinking that's what screwed my engine up to begin with both #2 and 3 exhaust ports were oiled and when I replace the gasket again I'm not putting the cam gasket in.
