I bought a TCI off Ebay to have as a spare for my trip back to NY from ID next month and I'd like to make sure it is working properly. The only way to do this is to plug it into a running '78 - '80 XS and see if the bike still runs? If that is the case is there anybody out there willing to test it for me? I will of course pay for shipping both ways. Any takers?

Sorry for the confusion. No, not for my XJ, for the 1980 LG I bought out in Idaho. Scott suggested it would be wise to have a spare for the ride back to NY.Billy
