Left Side Cover Question

  • Left Side Cover Question

    Hello All

    I am finished with my bike build and went to put on the left side cover and it doesn't fit. I assume there is supposed to be a place on the frame to lock the side cover in, like on the right side, but there isn't. Can someone take a pic of their left side cover mounting hole and post it? It should mount just below the battery, but there is no mounting hole. Perhaps it is on a part I am not using. I know this sounds silly but nevertheless I still need the help.

    The left side has a lock like this.



    You can see it in the lower right hand corner of this photo.

      This latch mechanism bolts to the frame below the battery box....

        I am such an idiot. I forgot to add the latch. Thanks for the pics. I really appreciate it. I took the bike out for the first time yesterday. WOW it is fun. I did get some 2 gear slip. I thought that I undercut the gears enough for it not to slip. I guess I was wrong. I just finished with the bike. It took three years. I would really hate to have to take the trans apart again.
