    Looking at the bore, you may want to run some crocus cloth inside! Slot a wooden dowel, wrap some VERY FINE crocus cloth, and chuck it in a drill press. Just LIGHT cleaning should get the pits out of the bore, and make the brakes work correctly.

      Yup, no master rebuild is correct without a good honing

        I finished it off with 0000 steel wool. WOW it was beautiful.

        Installed and bled out. works great!
