I am going to pick up a 79 eleven special and it needs pipes...I found a set and the guy says they are off a standard...will they fit the special and if not any suggestions on getting a new set as close to stock as possible....thanks

The pipes don't swap without modification. No one is making exhaust for an XS1100 any more. There is still a stock of MAC exhaust.

They will fit with a little work but will be longer. If the muffs need renew you can do what I did with Dunstall replicas. The best way to fit muffs to stock headers needs more explanation. Write back for further details. Cheers Done
