    Soooo, I discovered the other day that all four of my pick up wires were broken or almost so... i did a hack patch job with some 14 ga. wire and crimp connectors and the bike now runs 200% better!!! All of my cold running issues and low end roughness have resolved!

    Not sure what the best method is to repair these wires... any suggestions?
    1980 XS1100LG Midnight Special, Antique SuperTrapp 3.5"~ Muffler w 6 discs on 4>1 headers. K&N Air Filter

          Yep Tim, it's a problem that plagues almost every one of these bikes. It can fool you into thinking you have carb problems. BTDT
