Does anyone know where to get just the square o-ring for the bore on the inside of the brake caliper on a 78 XS11? Thats all I need, the other parts last forever. I hate to spend $16 times 3 + freight (Partsnmore.com) on a complete rebuild kit when that's all I really need. I checked with my local dealer a couple of years ago and they also said that's the only way you can get it is in a complete rebuild kit. It's also much higher from the Yama dealer. I hate how they can get you over a barrel like this.

I know what you mean. I just paid $30 for one complete main bearing! Last time I bought some they were only $14 for a complete bearing. I paid over $150 for a complete set then. 9 journals worth. I'd hate to have to replace them all now. I'd have to sell of my first born...wait a minute. That's not such a bad idea...
