  • Ignition module placement on standard

I've been doing a standard swap on my special (tank and seat) and have found that the seat doesn't sit right because it's hitting the module, we're they placed in a different spot in different years? Or maybe a different rear fender?

Yes, the standard had the box BEHIND the seat, covered by the plastic on the back. The special seat pan has a "notch" for the box, as it's under the seat. You CAN mark the location, and use a ball peen hammer to create your own notch or dimple for the box.
Oh, I know Kenosha is a larger town, but if you know Mike Duczack(sp?) and his family, tell them uncle Ray said "hi".
