XS Carb Bodies Compatability ?

Howdy,

Are the carb bodies from 78-79 XS850 or XS750 interchangeable with the XS11? Somehow I suspect this has been asked before

You know the drill.......jets wrenched too tight, stripped.....ect........just looking to make a good set without breaking the bank and keep the project close to OEM.

Nope.... While there is some interchangeability of some parts, the bodies are machined differently and have internal differences that prevent swapping...

If you don't like Steve's answer, take it from somebody who has tried it. It doesn't work.
