  • Long time gone

Greetings XS-XJ group, it's been a long time.

Crazy thing happened yesterday, I did a Google search on my name and the first thing that popped up was the YICS tool I created for tuning my 82 XJ.
I had to check out this web which I assisted with way back in the 80's.
I have fond memories of those trips and long journeys on the old XJ. I have taken in several Yamaha's over the years even as recently as last summer. I now rework and restore them for sale. It's fun to ride a real classic motorcycle once in a while.

My garage is still packed with motorcycle of all brands, models and types. I call it being surrounded by my boys.

I will have to check this site out a bit and see what's new.

Welcome back and don't get lost again.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

Yup, I remember making one to your pattern and using it for tuning SWMOB's 'H that has an XJ cylinder bank. Mine worked sort of okay, but I kept melting the rubber bits because I had not then found a source of good high-temperature tubing.

        Welcome back!
