  • Question about Headlight bucket

Hi I am converting a 78E Bagger to a plain Jane Standard from round light to Square headlight I have most parts that I need so just want to know about the backside of the headlight bucket if there were any grommets around the wires where they come in to the headlight bucket there are 3 openings on the backside. Can someone help me on this.

    Thanks

No grommets that I remember. I believe it's just plastic. I guess you could throw a grommet in each hole for added protection, but I have never had any issue with that section of wiring being damaged from rubbing on the bucket. That harness is sheathed.

      I'm doing the same.

My question is what do the headlight bucket bolts look like?

Is there an acorn nut on the end or what?

I know some came with a reflector but how was that attached?

      OK, That's three questions.

The bolt is actually pressed into the reflector, goes through bucket, then flat washer lock and nut on the inside

          Thanks

I guess I'll just wing it for now till I get my hands on a pair of reflectors.
