Which screen are you referring to??
I've been to Steptoes place lots of times and I haven't seen anything similar to this anywhere.
That's the sort of gear required if you have a roo "splat" on your screen as they are quite sizeable over here.
The one in the pic here is a decent size for an eastern grey, but the big reds in the outback are huge.................

There's a video of Steptoes driving his rig and there's a mesh screen on the lower part of the windscreen on the outside of the rig. Although after seeing the size of those roos I doubt it would do a lot of good.

2014 annual rally

One of the fellas that came from Adelaide, a full 3 day ride broke both rack brackets,
We borrowed a local suzuki dealers w/shop and fabled up a new set,

Sorry about getting the posts mixed up,
The mesh screen on my truck is stone catcher, to stop so many chipped w/screens
But yes I have hit a couple of roos,,
and a full grown cow,,, both hurt
