  • Sirius Consolidated ( diaphragm/Slide)

Not a fire sale, but just drop in your needles and go. Sirius out of Canada is offering Mikuni genuine slide/diaphragm assemblies for 55 bucks. I have seen them advertised as high as 200. No cutting the plastic ring or pushing in with screwdrivers. The diaphragms only, are out of stock until August. I ordered a set and the order was canceled so I ordered the full assy. Let all know when they arrive and get the SG up and running. At 2200 miles the original diaphragms (gees I hate typing that word ) showed some cracks and pinholes on the edges. I am only going to do this once.

    Up and running.

Synched and adjusted the carbs with the new diaphragms. Work great.

      "...at 2200 miles..."

You had to rub it in, huh Vance.

That bike was such an amazing find.

Radio, I am always on the hunt !

My wife says I spend alot of time in the garage fixing STUFF. She likes it that way, I stay out of her way. I spent the better part of three years tracking down the owner of this supposed perfect condition bike. Exterior of the bike was almost as new (only new is new !). Owner had no title, no key and no time for anyone to come look at his bike, even though he kept me posted that it was for sale. I had just about given up on this bike when the owner finally gave me his address. The pictures on this site do not do it justice as it is really near new. The bad after trailering it home, Gummed carbs, bent #4intake valve, and reseal in tank falling apart. NO TITLE. Owner could not find it. State of Michigan said it issued a title in November, Owner finally got the title to me last week. WHEW ! After installing new tank, rebuilding carbs and lapping in a new valve ( Nirvana ).

great news on your running bike
on the subject of title in MI, it's fairly easy to obtain one if you buy a bike without one
