I'm picking up my painted gas tank tomorrow and to finish up the build I'd like to see if I could touch up the paint on the frame. There's no way on God's green earth that I'm stripping the bike down to the frame just to get it powder coated but I'd like to fix some of the spots where the black paint has flaked off and the red-orange-ish primer is showing through. They aren't massive spots but just enough to take away from the overall great look.
Anyone had experience with fixing a few problem spots on the frame? I would think taping off the areas and hitting it with some touch up rattle can would do it but I'd hate to spray something that doesn't match and make it look like a cheap-a$$ repair.
