So everywhere I read on here people talk about custom made lines and rasputin had a link to lines he measured out for whoever was fabricating them. Has nobody here tried running goodridge lines? 58 plus 16 shipping for the rear...much cheaper than what most threads I've read entail. I'd there a measurement difference in the UK bikes?

Ive never seen their name brought up but after searching the price seems pretty good. $112 for a front set.
I would guess that we only talk about a couple different makers because no one else has known about them.Nate

We tend to be a frugal bunch. So, we look for the best deals. There is a seller on Ebay that sells a full set, all four lines, for about $90. The problem has been the lines were not exact fit, at least for Special models.
There is the new source identified, Technafit. They have good pricing and made them to be exact fit.
Yes, Ras worked with Chacal to find the exact fit for each. His pricing is substantially higher.
Hella also makes them, and several other sourced in the range of prices you have listed.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Ian Mc. and I have purchased the Technafits. $90 plus $8 shipping. They look very nice, all fittings (banjos and washers) come with. Front and rear-- total of 4 lines. They look great. Am installing maybe this week.79 F

Ebay 97.95
I believe the key to these on Ebay is you have to tell the guy which bike you have. They have different sets for the different bikes and they also have a 14 day return policy.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

The seller on Ebay I dealt with went by CoastGuard. Now, my experience seems to be unique, however I refuse to do anything more with him.
I bought the set of lines, and he did not, at the time anyway, know a difference in Specials or Standards. The lines from the splitter down to the front calipers fit fine. However the line from the MC to the splitter, and the rear line did not fit well at all. In both cases, the only way I got them to fit was to remove the MC from the bike, hook up the line, then use the MC to torque the line enough to get the MC remounted.
For me, that was to much stress on the line to leave it like that. So I wrote to him and asked for help. He told me many folks had no problems, but, if I sent him the lines back, with the dimensions and angles and all I needed, he would send me the lines I needed. So I wrote to him (ebay messages) the correct dimensions and angles and all for the lines. Also sent him back those two lines. After a few weeks, I tried to contact him and got no response. we may have exchanged some messages, after a month or so (This is a few years back now). But in the end, I got two lines of the four that worked, he got two sent back to him, and he never sent me any more lines, or any more messages. And yes, I do carry a grudge over such things, so I do not mind retelling how he gave me the shaft instead of the two lines he promised.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

that is his handle
Well I guess I will be the test subject two years down the road. will update when I receive the lines from him. I asked for the ones for the special and he had no problems with them. He also has a 14 day return policy so will post an update on fitment when I receive them. I had a set of silver but wanted black to match the scheme of the bike. Hopefully I will not see the problems you have. If I were you I would email him again.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

I like the Goodridge because the banjos and lines are separate so there's no problems with 'clocking' and non-stock lengths are no issue...Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
