washer got away

Any idea on getting the little washers that are inside the idle mixture screw hole.... On rebuilding my carbs again, I removed the screws and one of the washers was missing. Went auto store to find suitable replacement but nothing quite that small was found. I ended up getting one with a very similiar I.D. but larger O.D. and grinding it down with a dremel. I think it will work but now as Ii'm going to reassemble the carbs, I've lost another I should probably get the right washers in there - I'd hate for that needle to get stuck for some reason.

Lost Washer

tab1324, find a hardware store with a good selection of small stainless nut and bolt assortment. If no luck there find a good marine supply store. Just ideas.

I would think that www.motorcyclecarbs.com would have them. If not, you can get the washer, o-ring and aluminum plug, as a set for $6, from www.mikesxs.com
