MNS Paint

Concerning the paint on the MNS - Is the engine paint and chassis paint the same on these bikes. Reason I ask is that the ones that I have seen appear too have a flatter black on the engine. Is that the way Yamaha did it or am I looking at faded 35 year old engine paint?

Glossy black on everything else

On my 1980 mns, the engine block, and areuond the cylinders, and carbs, are like a satin finish, and the covers, and frame, are glossy.
