    New Mufflers, patience and luck.

    What do you think of these? I haven't even gotten out the chrome polish yet!

    Found them on Craigslist, $150 shipped from MI to NY. Guy had them listed as off an XS1100 but when I saw the part # in one of the photos I knew they were for an XJ. He said they came off a bike that the owner put an aftermarket exhaust on and they were hardly used, had been laying around on a shelf for years. Just goes to show that there are still nice parts out there that appear from time to time, I guess it was my turn to get lucky.

        Nice score Billy, your right in that there are still NOS parts hidden away that surface if your lookin' at the right time, that's how I ended up with two sets of Skettis

          good lord those are pretty...I recognized right away without part #'s that they were off an XJ...had one nearly 30 yrs... Very lucky find indeed
