Just what the doctor ordered.
I found my coil test is not a valid test. I am not competely sure, but I suspect there should be a condensor or something in the primary ciruit to prevent the secondary energy from draining back into the source as the current is broken. Or something.....
So, I put all the parts on the bike and found my ign coils are good, except I need to clean the resistors in the plug caps.
Real problem seems to be an intermittant pick-up coil.
Strange thing.....one pick-up is always good @ 720 Ohms. Other pick-up works for awhile while it measures 25 kOhms (Strange). Then the spark completely stops working and the 'bad' pick-up goes to infintite resistance (open circuit). I am surprised everthing works while the 'bad' coil measures 25kOhms.
Anyway, I seem to be a path to eventual Nirvana.
