    Hey Marty,

    Yeah, that's nice, but I've tilted/turned carbs over, and even with the fuel from the gas tank shut off, there's still plenty of fuel in the bowls to leak out and catch on fire anyways! And if the gas tank is fairly full when the bike's on it's side, it'll leak out of the cap vent also. So...yes, with an Octy it may not leak out of the petcocks, but depending on the severity of the crash, there's still plenty of fuel to get spilled/leaked from the carbs and tank itself. So...if it makes you feel safer with the octy, that's your choice. Mine has been gone for 13 years now, along with the mess of hoses. YMMV
