Thanks for the comments! I've now lowered the headlight and frontend more and wrapped the pipes in black (due to hand on hot pipe mishap lol)

I had a set of rotors that had the same hole pattern on this bike (217 holes) I swapped them out with minty ones and drilled them the same. Holes are counter-sunk as well.the previous set were ridden hard and had no signs of damage and are now on my xs650.

OK. Looked at them closer... Not a lot more. Maybe two?

Remember, our discs are massive 6mm thick beasts about double the thickness of contemporary discs. Look at the example below. There's only about 5/16 of web on those puppies. I think you would have to drill a lot more holes to really make ours compromised, but that would start to look silly.

Man, that's a lot of holes in the discs. At what point have you gone from a cooling effect, to defeating the structural integrity of them? It "Looks" cool, but I would worry about emergency stops with them.

Here on the wet coast, open stacks are not too bad since all the dust gets encapsulated and washed away in all the rain.

Didn't know there were so many xsessives on the island. Must be something in the water.

I'm fan of stock bikes, but I like the velocity stacks- they look much cooler than pods.

A few pinstripes painted on and pretty much done now. Loose wiring in pic tucked away nicely now. Runs great!

I'd never have the patience to drill 631 holes between three rotors. Insane!

That's why I get someone else to do it. To preserve what sanity i have left. lol

Are those radials on there?

They're tubeless Kenda Cruisers. 100/90 frt/ 140/70 rear. Not an expensive tire, it's what i grabbed in a rush to get rubber on it. Sourced Firestone Deluxe Champions (finally) as wholesale stock had dried up recently in North America.
