need new needles and seats for the sg. in garage today stain on floor under bike smells of gas. cant remember when or if they have been done.owned bike for 13 yrs. still has octy installed too. maybe need to redo octy to. going to keep everything stock.where is best place to get parts for carbs and octy.

If it leaks with the petcocks in the off position, you might want to rebuild them also. Gerogefix on ebay has the petcock rebuild kit, includes all you need for both petcocks and the OCTY. You could ask him if he has the float needle and seats for you.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

seems to be the isue at hand. i did turn off the petcocks. maybe time to rebuild the fuel system. have never done anything since i owned it .bought it with 14k now has 45k.

George Fix has a site. I think it's georgefixs.com or something like that. I had succsee with his petcock rebuild kit. I believe I used needles and seats from him too. All good. Jets from him are not genuine Mikuni. I get them from Jets R Us.Marty (in Mississippi)
