    Front Brake Calipers

I am in need of a RF brake caliper for 1978E. So I am trying to determine which models will work. It appears that 78-79 and 80-81 are the same (p/n). Will they interchange? Mikesxs has some showing for the 650. Will those work on the 1100s?

    Thanks in advance, Mike

The 78-81 Standards are all the same front calipers, just left and right differ.

The 1977-84 XS650 calipers are the same as XS1100 standard.

Hey Mike- In the five boxes of parts Scott gave me with my bike, were two front calipers. They're probs rusted and need a re-build. You're welcome to it if you need one.

On another note, I bought two of those calipers from Mike's for my 750 a few years ago. Very nice calipers. I compared the price of buying two pistons and rebuild kits versus buying both calipers and figured it was a good buy.
