    pistons

My '81 shows no wear on the cylinder walls. I could use a box of pistons because I use a little extra oil.
I was shining the pistons last fall and I broke the front skirt on a piston. To avoid extra costs I trimmed all four - the skirt just snaps off. The engine runs fine without.

Erm... that's your oil seal thingie afaik...
Just get a new set, measure the pots, or get the big bore kit.
And get somebody to do all the work for you... just in case something else gets broken.

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

      bouncing pitons

I've got about 50,000 miles on these original pistons. I think they'll be o.k. When I think about it: Wiseco makes about four oversizes. This bike should last 80 more years at that rate.
I was at job service and they interested me in a BP job. (Might be bouncing pistons)
