i am storing an extra tank (Off bike) i have read about adding fuel stabilizer to a full tank. I dont have a shed now to store the gastank full. I dont think i want to store in garage? so i am thinking of storing empty, do i oil it w 30 weight (lightly), stuff w newspaper to sop up a little moisture wrap in 3 or 4 lawnbags to keep out the air. or what? please give suggestions? thanks in advance brian

Do you have any of those little dessicant bags (silica gel) that comes in computer, and stereo equipment boxes? If you do. just attach some string to one, and dangle it in through the filler neck, and close the cap. That will absorb any moisture, and the string will let you retrieve it. If you don't have any, maybe the local Best Buy, Comp USA or equvilent can help you out.
