Hi XsWheel,
Many of us use Photobucket.com a free photo hosting site.
When in Photobucket below each pic you want to select Left click on "Image code" and it will briefly say copied...then when you are posting your reply right click the mouse and select paste...and this is what you will get...and you can click on these photos and they will enlarge. (MadMaxim)
This is a FAQ and Photobucket seems to be the easiest solution.

Interesting experiment. Having your feet ahead of the front axle is way too dangerous in my opinion. I also wonder about your exhaust design. I think a 4 into 1 system would have fit your space and even they are difficult to tune to. The overall length may have some handling issues too.

Well it certainly gets an A-Plus for creativity. A two seater Can-Am type thing. I do agree the handling would seem to be odd at best with that set up.
As for foot safety, well, not any less safe than our legs and such on any other bike. However I see Phil's point of any type of front end impact.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Originally built by My Dad about 20 years ago. With 85 v65 Sabre and vw front end. I got it 10 years ago and have since put two more motors into it. Im tired of swapping sabre motors I recently knocked on a neighbors door a couple houses down who had this chopper build rusting on his patio. We didn't talk much but he gave me the thing before I could say " man that's quite a machine".. He couldn't get it titled for some reason. Maybe he's been on here who knows. But Free is good!80 XS11 Reverse Trike Build

This reminds me of the Popular Mechanics Tri Magnum bike built in the early 80's. I did see a completed one at the California state fair around 86'.http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...-speed/4218478
First bike was an: 1978 XS1100
Second bike is an FJR1300.
Now I'm restoring a '79 XS1100.

Thank you for getting my picture up Maximphil.
It is a couple feet longer than it was with the previous donor bike which doesn't thrill me. The exhaust is unlovely as well. Straight pipes. Not that I could fabricate anything better..
It hasn't been "assembled" yet. It is shown here just propped together after hacking off the old bike.. I did get it to start and barely idle. More than I could hope for given the bargain.
The beast does have some decent lines thanks to the P O..
After all the reading I've done on this site I really like my chances with this power plant. Hanging around this site one gets the feeling that he cant loose. Good energy. My kind of place.80 XS11 Reverse Trike Build

Layoutwise it's a mid-engined Morgan. Handling should be OK. Morgans handled good enough to get banned from sidecar races back in the day.
Gonna need fan cooling once the body is on, though.
And there's room (and for once, a reason) to fit a big fat rear tire.
And if I was doing the build there'd be a sturdy tubular spaceframe built into the body to keep me safe.
Well, good luck with the build XsWheel. I hope you get the vehicle complete and on the road in it's second generation of ownership.Fred Hill, S'toon

To Chain or not to Chain
I like to see a picture of the drive shaft or is that motor already set up with a chain drive conversion?wingnut

Fredintoon. Fan cooling..? I've seen it mentioned on here. Not sure how I would work that. The sight of that motor sticking out either side of the skinny bare frame looks nice. Hate to surround it with fans but I know from experience that even the water cooled bike could be challenging to keep cool with seets blocking airflow There won't be any enclosure. I tried to read most of the oil cooler threads here and I want to explore that. Have been lurking for couple months at this site.. I live in South Florida and am worried about heat and traffic I will give it a chance to cool itself without any help first. A roll cage would be nice.
I would rate the handling as Astonishing. It would almost jerk you from your seat with a hard pull of the wheel. We will see how it does with this set up. Lol what you said about the rear wheel is too true. Can't wait to try out that rear traction on the wet uphill red light side of a draw bridge now. I will eventually try my luck with a car tire back there.
wingnut.. I will work on getting more pictures up including drive shaft area. The guy did say he had machine shop make the sprocket that hooks to the final drive. It's the reason this thing is so long. . Looks like I just need a chain to get power to the Hyabusa rear wheel. And 100 other things I haven't thought of yet. Love the founders quotes.80 XS11 Reverse Trike Build

trying to get the machine's history straight.
Your Dad built it ~20 years back.
You've been running it the past 10 years while burning up V65 Sabre motors.
The photo shows the latest iteration with a (free!) XS11 complete drive train plus a chain-drive extension and it's still a work in progress?
Never had a Morgan but I briefly owned a BSA 3-wheeler (Morgan lookalike but with front wheel drive) back in the day. The Mfrs economy of not using constant velocity U-joints in the drive train (a 1930's example of the cheapbastarditis that destroyed the British motorcycle industry by 1970) led to a very interesting ride on corners.
As you say you will be running the vehicle nekkid there will be a reasonable airflow around the engine. I ran my XS11 Sidecar rig in 105ºF weather in Northern Montana and it's engine ran OK so yours should too especially if you install an oil cooler.Fred Hill, S'toon

I wonder if you can double stack what appears to be a battery and another box? then shorten up the tail. I would definitely run a car tire.
How much space between the seats ? perhaps moving then a couple of inches outboard with a "funnel" for air to the engine. I like the oil cooler idea too perhaps a little larger than on the bike and even have a fan on it with atleast a Temp gauge. An over the head (yours) air scoop would be another option to get air back there. If you have the original airbox it may be an ideas to use it. Carbs like to suck from undisturbed air. At least fenders and some small body work would be practical and attractive (if well done)
