Shortn the height of the bike/ Shocks

Hi Every1,

Here's my delima I love my bike & the power, however i am only 5'4 & i am on my toes on this beast is there any way to lower my 1980 XS 1100 special 2-3 inches or can i interchange the shocks from a 650???? if any1 has any ideas let me know i was thinkn about havn the seat redone i dont know i just know shes 2 big in height 4 me please feel free to email me with any ideas or suggestions @ digicom@capital.net
