acct question

I installed an acct from a low mileage venture onto my low mileage '80 special about 6 months ago, all is working well as far as I know. did I read somewhere in a post on this list that even the acct's should be checked periodically to insure they are functioning correctly? please advise, thanks

Yup, T.C. just posted a detailed guide to this issue. Would apply if timing chain link/pin wear increases length enough to make it questionable for more extended use or not. Good read. Just posted yesterday, so easy to find.
