If like me your 79f model suddenly stalls at a junction and won't start again because all four cylinders have lost their spark and all the usual checks fail to find any fault or restore the spark. By this time you will be angry, confused and have sore feet from walking everywhere. So try this, disconnect the wires from the emergency cut-off switch (small black box rubber-mounted underneath the petrol tank between the upper frame tubes, has two wires running from it one black one black/white) it earths out the CDI if the bike falls over more than 60 degrees. Mine had a broken contact inside which instead of decreasing electrical contact vibrated itself into a position where it made a perfect connection killing my sparks. If you take my full advice you will throw the offending, unnecessary black box as far away from the bike as possible as it runs just fine without it. I only hope this advice saves some of you the frustration and walking I have been through this week. Good Luck!
