It's been a while since someone posted up a thread like this.
It's fun trying to guess.
I'd wager that the hose clamps are reflector attachments for the forks.
The 3 'spoons' may be tie irons for mounting tires.
The 2 round brackets may be something for a horn mount?
Just guesses.Hi, my name is George & I'm a twisty addict!

Antique pasties. They were tougher back then.. they rivetted them on.
Those parts aren't from our bikes. Almost looks to me like the center locking thingy for a couple hub caps. Maybe someone was going to try to adapt some bling on the bike with some nice hubcaps, whitewalls, and a set of curb finders?
You might be able to look up what they are from the patent number.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

The 2 big things in the center. One is missing it's welded nut. Don't know what they are called. But on my moms old 84 Chrysler New Yorker. They bolted to the center of her factory rims. And then you put the wire wheel hub caps on. And behind the Chrysler symbol was a security bolt that bolted the hub cap on the wheel. Then just pressed the cap into place. Never really understood why they put a security bolt on the hub cap for as I recall back in the day people stole the center cap itself.
The 3 angle levers look like tire irons/spoke tighteners!Chris

Three spoons are definitely "tire irons" for a BICYCLE. Spoons hook under the tire and the slot goes over the spoke to hold the iron in place. Looks to me like this guy had just run out of places to store miscellaneous junk from his garage.1995 KZ100P

It's so obvious, I'm surprised you had to ask. This is a dismantled Indonesian gamelan. You hang the components on strings and then strike them with the items wrongly described as bicycle tyre levers. The PO was quite clearly a travelling musician who hung the instrument from the handlebars.Last edited by James England; 09-07-2013, 05:30 PM.XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. the 3 bent things are bicycle tire levers. The notch in the bent end hooks over a spoke in the bicycle wheel to hold it in place hands free.
The rest? Misc. bicycle related junk. OTOH, if you toss them, they'll turn out to be worth a fortune.Fred Hill, S'toon
