  • rear brake switch removal dumb question...

Ive tried to remove my rear brake switch but I think the lower plastic nut is stuck... I don't want to break something so do you have any tips? How you remove this nut?

Are you pulling it because it's not working? Buy a new one on ebay for $10 and it comes with a metal nut

you could try unbolting the rear master cylinder and letting it hang so you can get better access to the switch ???

First, reach in with some bent-tip needle nose pliers and disconnect the lower end of the spring from the brake lever. After that, the switch assembly should just lift straight up from its mount, and the plastic nut will spin freely.
