Carbon Kevlar? Is someone shooting at you?

Either one is likely better than metal!

I think I remember someone saying the semi metallic didn't stop well, not sure about the carbon Kevlar though.

I believe the kevlar pads are what I put on mine. They are SBS. I got both the left and right set at Ron Ayers for $30. They are an improvement over the EBC pads they replaced. Unfortunately, I don't remember what compound they were.

I'm sorry for the post, Greg. My brakes are ceramic.

On my 79SF, EBC kevlar's stop well, but make a lot of dust on the wheels and seem to be wearing down pretty quickly. They are nice and quiet, no squeaks. YMMV

I think I'll give the Kevlar a try. I found a full set front and rear for $25 free shipping.

Is that for a special greg? Sounds like a good price, if you don't mind, where'd you find them?
