New Pads on front calipers really snug, will this wear in?

I bled my front brakes today and they seem great, although even before bleeding, the front wheel was rather hard to turn by hand. Is this just the tight calipers and the new pads?

Well riding it around a little after I get it running seat everything correctly?

Did you push the pistons all the way in before you put new pads on? The caliper with new pads should go on loosey goosey. It should not be a tight fit. Something is amiss.

If you did push the pistons in as far as you could and the pads are still tight, you've probably got crap behind them and the calipers should come off for a internal cleaning....

Push them in all the way. Work the handle until the brake holds again before you ride.

yep, you need to push the piston in till it is almost if not completely even with the caliper body. I use a BF C-clamp and a small block of wood over the piston.

You shouldn't need a clamp or any other mechanical means of pushing the piston in; you should be able to do this by hand. If you can't, it's time to rebuild the calipers and thoroughly clean them.

When I did my fork seals, I did not touch the brake handle but when I put my wheel and calipers back on, my brake Were draggin when turning by hand. I took it out and they didn't get hot to touch but I noticed my brakes didn't work as good as before. Those little metal things also dropped out and I'm not 100% sure if I put them back in right. Any thoughts on that? I haven't jacked it back up to see if the wheel spins easier by hand now but it doesn't get hot and it wasn't dragging bad.
