(Just got myself a 1981 XS11 in pretty decent shape. I remember when I got my 79XS11 someone was selling extended handlebar risers which made a real difference although it was only an extra 1/2-3/4 inch)
I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to get extended handlebar risers for an 81H?
    Thanks
    Cheers,

lots of suppliers out there for risers.....just google it. With risers, you won't be able to retain the ignition switch cover, which also is the bar clamp. The Specials are 'naked' there, so no issue with risers........JAT before you go and drop some bucks on a set of risers.
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

I it 'up and back' risers on my XJR. So much easier on the back and wrists...
