I was reading the inside of the side cover and noticed the label said 91octane. Does anyone use 91 if so what difference do u see. is the mileage better? also it says to use leaded fuel. does anyone put a lead additive in the tank?

Others may do differently, I use 87 octane and no lead additives. Runs great all day long. I average about 36 MPG

No lead additive needed having hardened seats. An article explains the RON thing with fuel. that 91 number was derived differently 30+ yrs. ago. 87 would be its equivelent now. Aside from that, if the truth be known, these ole' scoots would run on kerosene.
