  • Luggage Rack Mount Bolts

    Hey everyone,
I'm going to mount my luggage rack and I don't have the 4 bolts to go with it...just wondering if anyone knows the size so I can track some down.

It is the same rack/bolts as in this auction:

Go to ace harware and find some bolts that fit. It really doesn't matter.

If the bolts go into the threaded spots in the frame or fender, they are most likely 6mm 1.0 thread.

I went to Ace and didn't find any bolts with the right threading...I actually ended up destroying the threads in the 2 rear-most mounting spots (where they screw directly into the frame with no nut) so I took my drill and bored the holes out all the way through the fender, stuck some longer bolts through there and tightened up with nuts/washers...nice and tight, no rattling. I'm satisfied...

          Thanks for the advice
