  • Bar Switch Assembly

I recently took apart the leftside bar switch assembly and let it sit for a few days, now I don't remember how it went back together. I tried to find this online and only can find the wiring diagram. Does anyone have a picture or something that shows this?

        Hey there Never,

I searched the site, and surprisingly we don't have any photos on fixing or disassembling the handlebar controls. I'm responding to this partly in hopes that someone will already have some photos of the assembly innards removed and reassembled so post to show you how the parts fit back inside. I'm assuming that is where you're stuck at?

            Nubian,
don't worry about not being able to get the pics right away, I've been working crazy hours putting in overtime myself. I appreciate you being willing to take some pics for me.

HAH!, I figured it out, that switch doesn't have the hazard switch in it!
That one pictured seems almost simple compared to the 80/81's with that damned hazard switch in the bottom there next to the pink horn button wire.

Don't get me wrong, These pics are wonderful and hopefully one of the mods can move it into a Left Hand switch overhaul tech thread.
If I remember tonight(this afternoon) I'll try to add a pic of the guts of my 80 switch with the hazard switch in there.
