i found a former members build

So I found a former members bike over in norfolk. The bike was built by audijunky. I havent been able to find any activity from him since 2009. My chief owns the bike now and is looking to get rid of it. He said he is looking to get 2000 out of it. from what he said the bike has an oil leak and a possible fuel leak. Its chopped, stretched, chain drive, ect. Im not looking to buy it but am going to go look at it on friday. Justwondering what you guys thought about it or if anyone knew of any other issues with this bike or knew the builder. If you google xs1100 rat bike its one of the first few images.

Hey Charles,

If you found his Profile, then you can see his description of what he did to the bike. IIRC, he had problems getting it tuned because of the straight pipes. I don't remember if his chain drive conversion was a kit from XSChop or not, but if so, then it's a quality CNC machined mod! In his profile you can also have the site show you all of the threads he started, or all the posts he made, so you could find his discussion on his bike build!

I was trolling some of his old posts and it doesnt seem like he ever got it running right.

So to bring up an old post, I met up with this guy today and put the carbs off my 80 on his bike and it ran great. Better then my 80 actually. I didnt sync them to his bike either. I also showed him how to fix his rear brakes that some previous owner jerry rigged. They were off a sport bike with a plate to bolt up to one hole of where the stock master cylinder mounted. A long screw was made to go to the rear brake lever then welded to a chopped factory piece. what a mess. still not right but better then when i got there. There are other issues are with the clutch and front brakes but that is due to the 1in bars and huge grips, jerry rigged again. The clutch dosent fully disengage fully or do the brakes work fully. The controls are also 7/8 made to fit 1in bars There is also an oil leak at the shifter seal and another one at the chain drive conversion.

The chain drive conversion really needs to be redone. Its a real home made piece. the oil is leaking from where the stock middle drive shaft goes into the engine. The current set uo is all open in that area and any thing else ive seen online has a plate/seal to stop the oil? Does anyone know of a conversion still being made?

Going back tomorrow to help him out some more and see what i can do.
